Nice retro feel, but in need of a good cleaning. Thankfully the lounge is non-smoking as of April 27, 2019. Takase blend coffee and hot cakes were quite tasty.

I honestly don’t understand all the hypes. It seems like some people describe this place as a retro or traditional cafe but I’m sorry I passionately disagree with it. This place reminded me of a cafe in a hospital. It is simply old and they don’t seem to care about the presentation of it. I ordered a set menu that includes sandwiches and a drink but it’s not worth the money at all. If you wanna visit a traditional Japanese cafe then you should go to a proper one. If you want somewhere to chill our for a bit then I recommend ANY other chain cafes, or even McDonald’s is 100 times better. Seriously don’t waste your money on this place.

When you go to Ikebukuro, be sure to buy 3-4 raisin bread for 180 yen on the first floor here.The whole family loves and rejoices.On the day of the purchase, it is cut and eaten as it is and it has a sticky texture and it is very delicious, and everyone eats it and it disappears soon.It is delicious even if you bake it and eat butter.You can eat it with crisp bread.Cospa is excellent and recommended.

You can enjoy cakes and sweets at a coffee shop on the 2nd floor at a confectionery store founded in 1920.I like the Montblanc parfait here.Elegant sweetness of chestnut candied and yellow homemade marron cream.Homemade whipped cream, sweetened with chestnuts, served with marron cream and one-point cherries.Below the Mont Blanc of marron cream is plenty of ice cream.I enjoy Mont Blanc and parfait at once, and I like it.
